Christine Motola, 62, of Cherokee, passed away on Jan. 15, 2014. She retired from DuPont and then worked at Gary’s Service Center before moving to Cherokee where she worked for the Tribal Bingo. Christine is the daughter of the late Samual Cannon and Gloria Cannon.
Christine is survived by her sons, Brain Motola of Cherokee, and Jeffery Motola of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Jalen, Alex and Alexis all of Cherokee. Christine also leaves behind friends who will miss her greatly.
A visitation was held on Jan. 18 at Long House Funeral Home. The funeral service followed with burial at the family cemetery. Pastor Betty Drake officiated.
